Frequently asked questions

Who can use your Support Coordination services?

I work directly with participants who have suitable self-managed or plan-managed NDIS funding for Support Coordination. If your funding is NDIA-managed, please get in touch to discuss possible registered-provider options; any such arrangement must be separately confirmed by the registered provider.

How quickly will you respond to my enquiry?

I aim to acknowledge calls, emails and messages on the same or next business day. If I need time to research your question, I’ll let you know I’ve received it and follow up as soon as I can. Evening and weekend appointments may be available by arrangement.

What is the difference between Level 1 and Level 2?

Level 1 Support Connection focuses on helping you connect with supports and make use of your plan. Level 2 Coordination of Supports involves more ongoing assistance to implement and coordinate supports, work through challenges and build the skills to manage your plan.

Do you review NDIS plans and budgets?

Yes. We can go through your current plan together, identify potential service gaps, establish priorities and review your budget and support usage regularly. A review of your existing plan is different from an NDIA plan reassessment; I can also help coordinate information and evidence for check-ins or reassessments where appropriate.

Can you help if my funding is running out?

We can check expenditure, discuss current service arrangements and explore appropriate options to improve sustainability. I cannot promise additional funding or guarantee an NDIA decision.

Do I have to use a provider you recommend?

No. Provider choice remains yours. I can help you understand and compare options and discuss any actual or potential conflicts of interest.

Can you meet me at home or locally?

Yes. In-person meetings are preferred, based out of Inverloch and across the listed service areas, subject to availability and agreed travel arrangements.

Do you support people outside Victoria?

Remote support may be available Australia-wide by arrangement. We will discuss whether a local coordinator might better meet your circumstances.

Do you offer Psychosocial Recovery Coaching?

Yes, where appropriate to your needs and your plan’s funding. My main service is Support Coordination. If Psychosocial Recovery Coaching is included in your plan and suits your goals, we can discuss that too.

What does getting started cost?

An initial enquiry to discuss availability and suitability is welcome. Before funded services commence, the proposed support, applicable price, any travel or non-face-to-face charges, and cancellation arrangements are explained in a service agreement.

What if I am unhappy with the service?

You can provide feedback or make a complaint without fear of negative treatment. You can also contact the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. See our Feedback & Complaints page for options.
